The system
Prep 2 proteins + 1–2 vegetables + 1 grain on one day, then mix and match into bowls, plates and wraps. Portion into small containers so servings match your reduced appetite. Keep a few boiled eggs and shakes for backup.

Batch these components

  • Proteins: baked chicken, ground turkey, hard-boiled eggs, baked tofu, a pot of beans or lentils.
  • Vegetables: sheet-pan roasted veg; a big salad base; steam-in-bag veg for freshness.
  • Grain: a batch of brown rice or quinoa (small portions).
  • Sauces: salsa, vinaigrette, tzatziki, hot sauce — flavor without much fat.

Assemble all week

  • Grain bowl: grain + protein + veg + sauce.
  • Plate: protein + big pile of veg + small carb.
  • Wrap/salad: protein + greens + a light dressing.
  • Breakfast: boiled eggs or overnight oats with protein.

GLP-1 specific tips

  • Use small containers — your portions are smaller now, and big containers encourage overeating.
  • Prep gentle “safe” options too (plain rice, broth) for nausea days.
  • Freeze extra portions; appetite varies day to day.
  • Label protein grams on containers to track toward your target.

Frequently asked questions

How do I meal prep on GLP-1?

What is the easiest thing to prep?

Baked chicken and hard-boiled eggs for protein, sheet-pan roasted vegetables, and a batch of rice or quinoa. Add jarred sauces for variety.

Smaller than before treatment. Portion into small containers and let your fullness guide you — you can always add a protein snack later.
